Confidence is not something you're either born with — or not. It's a learned skill.
I had to discover confidence in myself, the hard way, through numerous life experiences and tools. But there is an easier way. A shortcut, if you will.
And it's my goal to teach it to as many people as possible.
There's no reason for a lack of confidence in yourself to hold you back in life. You can overcome it, and you can get almost everything you desire by discovering that confidence within yourself.
I never felt confident in myself. It was so bad, I stuttered whenever I felt put on the spot or in the spotlight.
The fact is, I never learned how to be confident.
In my 20's, I found myself in a role where I was in charge, and if I couldn't overcome my lack of confidence, I'd have failed. Horribly.
That's when I started looking for the solution. It took about four years, because I didn't know what I was doing. But now, I've tailored all those things I learned into one seamless process that I teach others.
And it doesn't take four years anymore.
My brain can't handle caffeine. Imagine someone with boundless energy, stuttering so hard all her words are gibberish. It's mortifying. For that reason, I'm caffeine-free, and even check the caffeine levels in any chocolate before I'll eat it.
Blue is truly my favorite color, and that shows up in every room of my home. My dishes, furniture, bedding, and office supplies are all blue. I can't help it. Blue makes my inner shy girl feel calm, safe, and secure, and that's all she really craves.
When I feel the overwhelming urge to let my introvert side have its way, I set myself up on the couch with tea, a movie (or two), and my crochet needles. I've created many different types of projects, but currently am obsessed with making pillow shams.
